Alright, so here is a little break down of my packages, why I created them the way I did and how the pricing works.
First off, pricing. If there is one thing I hear a lot in this world, it’s about the cost of stuff. Yes things cost money currently, that’s how the system is structured, though it looks like things may be a changing in the future, this is where things are now. I completely understand that financially times are difficult for 99% of the population. It sucks. This is why I made packages. Trust me they’re cheaper. There is a reason for that. The idea of hypnotherapy is that issues come to a point of resolution. You’re not expected to still be coping with the same issue you came in with at the end of a package of sessions.
I love my clients, but I don’t want them to be dependent on me for the rest of their days. This isn’t psychology, where once you’re a client you’re pretty much around for 100 sessions or more. Also, I know that my psychology reference isn’t true for all of them… It’s just relatively commonplace in so far as I am aware at this time.
With hypnotherapy, if you’re not getting so sort of shifting after 3 sessions, we’re changing how we do things. Simple as that.
That being said, things can be complicated. That’s why there are different packages. Some issues have multiple factors contributing to them. So it takes longer than 3 sessions to clear all that up.
Backtrack, lets breakdown costs shall we?
So what is the cost of sessions covering?
My rent (home and office)
My supplies (paper, forms, printer, ect)
My transport (to and from office )
Other necessities of life (Food, clothing, ect)
This is my job, ideally my only source of income, and the funds I make helping clients allows me to spend my time creating materials to help them further, researching best techniques and reaching out to find others whom may need my support.
Taking that into account $78/session (at the 9 session package price) is a pretty good deal. Also, considering that the market for therapy in general is around 100/session I feel like I’ve created a very worthwhile situation for my clients.
Ok, so we have the cost thing down, what’s up with the different package sizes. Well, as I said earlier, it takes about 3 sessions to deal with one thing, so depending on complexity the size of the sessions needed starts to change.
Lets take self expression, one of my favorites. There can be a bunch of reasons why we don’t express ourselves the way we want to, and to distill it down to the 3 main areas (as I approach it) would be, our relationship to the traditionally “masculine” qualities we can be, our relationship to the traditionally “feminine” qualities we can be, and our relationship to ourselves. Each of those areas takes about 3 or so sessions to dig into and explore while resolving what comes up. Leaving out any of those areas and the issue may still be present in certain ways in the client’s life. This is of course simplifying things, there can be other factors at play. Like how creativity was handled growing up, are there any performance anxieties, fears of being seen or heard? All of these can alter how long it takes for an issue to be shifted in the fullest potential of what the client is looking for.
So I hope that clears things up, the packages were designed to simplify the process for clients and bring in some clarity as to what the process is going to look like for each step of the way. As well to create a way to make the session costs cheaper on my clients.
